The power electronics community will come together again at PCIM Europe in Nuremberg from May 10 to 12, 2022. Rohde & Schwarz is joining to demonstrate its latest test solutions for developers of power supplies and other power electronics. The company’s experts share their know-how about applications like stability analysis, power integrity and component testing as well as EMI debugging and EMI precompliance testing at the Rohde & Schwarz booth 452 in hall 7.

Ce document décrit la caractérisation des capacités électrolytiques en aluminium spécifiquement utilisées dans des applications de conversion de puissance AC/DC. Il évoquera la raison pour laquelle cette technologie de capacité est sensible en termes de durée de vie et pourquoi elle ne peut pas être remplacée simplement par une autre technologie de capacité. Les différents effets du vieillissement des capacités seront évoqués. L'utilisation de la capacité dans des topologies différentes de convertisseur AC/DC sera présentée. La simulation de circuits sera utilisée pour analyser la capacité plus en détail avant que des mesures adaptées ne soient effectuées pour présenter un exemple réel d'une alimentation en mode commutation (SMPS).Après la présentation des bases des capacités électrolytiques en aluminium et la théorie, ce document présentera également toutes les mesures possibles et importantes des paramètres de la capacité, comme la capacitance, la résistance série équivalente (ESR) et le courant d'ondulation. Cela comprend la mesure dans le circuit qui peut être effectuée avec un oscilloscope. Un pont RLC est utilisé en complément pour obtenir des mesures de précision élevée. Une comparaison entre les deux méthodes de mesure sera présentée.
