The Training Program Manager is based in our Columbia, Maryland facility. This person will work closely with the Service team to facilitate training efforts, coordinate onboarding, develop/guide curriculum, track progress and qualifications for employees, and other activities related to training for our Technical Service department in North America. In addition, this person will work closely with our Learning and Development Manager to align Service training requirements with the broader corporate mission and planning for training and development for employees.

Your tasks

  • Provide guidance and set requirements for training program for Service Organization.
  • Manage entry level service technician program participants
  • Establish, monitor, adjust training curriculum for service personnel development across the entire department
  • Shape and refine onboarding process for Service personnel
  • Track and report on employee development plans
  • Develop, maintain, and improve systems for onboarding, training, and qualification tracking
  • Track and report on employee development plans, provide guidance/input to management on plan development and execution
  • Maintain process documentation related to training efforts
  • Logistics management for training events (dates, venues, content)
  • Collaborate with global training department to ensure alignment with global goals and requirements

Your qualifications

  • Degree in Education or commensurate experience
  • Project Management experience is required
  • Experience in Instructional Design is desired
  • Experience managing a small team is desired
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience developing curriculum for RF/Electronics technicians is desired.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products
  • In order to be considered, candidates must reside in the US and have valid US work authorization.

The total compensation for this position is $90K-$125K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
