Software Development : Working Student Test Development (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Support the development of test cases in Python (pytest) to test baseband features of signal generator devices
• Enhancement of existing test cases
• Help with the testing of test cases to ensure they meet the desired objectives and are robust
• Analysis of instable test cases to identify causes and implement improvements to support the team
• Assist with the maintenance of a Python test framework to fix bugs, optimize and improve

Your qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Communications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of studies
• Proficiency in Python programming language
• Basic understanding of using test and measurement devices e.g. signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and improving technical skills
• Ability to work independently, proactively find tasks, and manage time effectively
• Strong communication skills to share progress regularly and address challenges
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills in English, German is a plus but not required
