Software Development : Working Student Embedded Software & Yocto Linux (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Help to design and implement embedded software for Linux-based platforms, contribute to application development in C++
• Support the team with hardware-related programming (e.g. SPI; I2C/UART)
• Assist migration of Linux-based systems to Yocto: create and maintain Yocto recipes
• Develop and execute tests for quality assurance
• Assist with documentation of embedded Linux systems

Your qualifications

• Ongoing studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics or a related field of studies
• Practical experience in software development
• Basic knowledge of C++, Qt experience is a plus
• Scripting experience (Python or Bash) is beneficial
• Initial knowledge of embedded systems and cross-development
• Familiarity with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART) is a plus
• Independent, structured working style and openness to new topics
