Software Development : AI Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Project Implementation: Lead the full lifecycle of Generative AI projects, from ideation and proof-of-concept to deployment and maintenance.
• LLM/RAG Development: Design, build, and optimize knowledge retrieval pipelines for internal databases, documentation, and data sources to provide employees with quick and accurate information retrieval.
• Agentic AI: Research, explore and implement Multi-Agents Systems that can automate complex business process decisions and assist employees with decision-making.
• Infrastructure & Tooling: Contribute to the development and maintenance of our AI infrastructure, including model serving, data pipelines, and monitoring systems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across various departments (R&D, Marketing, Sales, HR, etc.) to understand their needs and translate them into effective AI solutions.
• Evaluation & Iteration: Continuously monitor the performance of deployed AI solutions. Identify suitable application specific metrics to benchmark and to judge the efficacy of implemented improvements.
• Stay Current: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in Generative AI, LLMs, and related technologies.

Your qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field, with a strong foundation in AI principles and methodologies.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python programming, with hands-on expertise in frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow for developing and deploying AI/ML models.
• Demonstrated experience working with state-of-the-art Large Language Models and customization techniques.
• Strong understanding of NLP concepts and techniques.
• Experience with data preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, version control (Git), and testing methodologies.
• 2+ years of experience with a major cloud provider. Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes (k8s) and OpenShift, including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to tackle complex problems creatively and efficiently, with a mindset geared towards experimentation and iterative improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative spirit that thrives in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment.
