Rohde & Schwarz, a global leader in broadcast transmission, and Vantage Towers, a leading tower company in Europe with more than 86,000 sites, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance the commercialization of 5G Broadcast (5GB) technology across Europe. The solution combines measurements of the antenna characteristics with simulation of the electromagnetic wave propagation to optimize the antennas’ design and their position to ensure for example optimal WiFi coverage inside the vehicle.
