Transforming employee screening with the QPS Walk2000

Learn how Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) was able to streamline its employee screening portal with technology solutions.

DFW put in place employee security screening portals to enhance security, mitigate the risk of insider threats, meet new Transportation Security Administration (TSA) aviation worker screening requirements and align airport procedures with the employee screening procedures of its partners.

DFW employee screening uses QPS Walk2000 walkthrough screening technology integrated with automated property screening, access control and identity management solutions. It was all developed in partnership with DFW and optimized for effective and efficient high-volume employee screening.

The QPS Walk2000 was developed specifically to support high-volume security screening in a wide range of operations requiring rapid and accurate screening for metallic and non-metallic threats, contraband, explosives, drugs, 3-D printed weapons, ceramic blades and other prohibited items. The system’s detection software has been optimized for avation worker screening and eliminates required removal of employee badges, nametags, outerwear and belts supporting efficient aviation worker screening, especially during shift changes.
