Rohde and Schwarz Cybersecurity to develop solutions for VS laptops

Munich, 10th of November 2025 — Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity has developed a specialized software package solely specifically for selected, high-performance Dell Technologies PCs. This highly secure software package enables mobile work with VS-NfD data on a security architecture that meets even the most modern requirements. The solution, only available on leveraging select Dell commercial laptops and workstations, is an ideal, easy-to-integrate and easy-to-operate solution for all organizations that need to process VS-NfD classified data.

The complete solution consists of pre-installed R&S software for VS-NfD-compliant backup of data on Dell laptops – both on the hard drive and for encrypted transmission in VPN networks. The security architecture used allows tight control of all hardware components, especially the connected USB devices and the network interfaces.

The R&S Trusted VPN Client previously offered by Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity will no longer be offered separately in the future. Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity recommends that affected customers who are already using this solution switch to the new solution offered on Dell laptops.
