Rohde & Schwarz furnishes EMC and radio labs of CSA Group′s new European headquarters with state-of-the-art T&M equipment

CSA Group, a global leader in testing, inspection and certification, has built a new European headquarters in Plattling in the State of Bavaria, Germany. As part of this project, CSA Group is considerably expanding its testing capabilities for German and European customers. For example, new test labs will enable a wide variety of product tests and certifications even of very large devices weighing up to 20 tonnes. The required test and measurement and amplifier equipment comes from EMC market leader Rohde & Schwarz.

Rohde & Schwarz closes challenging fiscal year successfully

Despite complex global challenges, Rohde & Schwarz has closed the 2022/2023 fiscal year successfully. For the first time in its 90-year history, the technology group topped the three billion euro mark for order intake. This shows that the group is well positioned in growth markets thanks to its focus on security and connectivity. Also in the reporting period, Rohde & Schwarz continued to invest systematically in its own vertical integration and key technologies in order to remain independent, flexible and technologically relevant for its customers.

Rohde & Schwarz and VIAVI jointly support the i14y Lab PlugFest and verify Analog Devices’ new O-RU design

At the recent i14y Lab Open RAN services and platforms PlugFest, which was part of the O-RAN ALLIANCE Global PlugFest Fall 2022, Rohde & Schwarz and VIAVI Solutions have combined their industry-leading capabilities to deliver an integrated solution for conformance testing of O-RAN Radio Units (O-RUs). With the automated testing solution, they were able to verify Analog Devices’ innovative 8T8R O-RU reference design and development kit according to both O-RAN and 3GPP pre-conformance.
