In the frame of our strongly growing systems business, the delivery of Integrated Logistic Support is of great importance. At the same time, the Projects complexity and workload is continuously growing. For these reasons, in order to secure the contractual commitments with our customers on the current and future development Programs, it is of paramount importance to increase the capacity of the ILS Management team in R&S strategic programs. We are therefor looking for additional resource who will : - Provide the local team with ILS Management expertise (ILS activities planning, coordination, follow-up, reporting) for local Naval Programs currently under progress. - Increase the overall ILS capability with expertise and structured specific knowledge - Provide a direct connection with Engineering teams - Develop the future services portfolio for the assigned programs - Work in coordination with other ILS Managers (internationally) in the frame of the standardization of the ILS Processes

Your tasks

  • ILS development topics:
  • The ILS Manager will act as project manager for all ILS disciplines and work related activities
  • Supports in the offer preparation phase, for new business opportunities
  • ILS Management set-up including ILS milestone planning, coordination, monitoring, follow-up, reporting of ILS work packages (LSA, Tech Pubs, Obsolescence Management, Training)
  • Ensure that the customer requirements, with respect to Services and ILS, are respected
  • Ensure delivery on time, on cost and on quality of all the contractual deliverables
  • Design To Support: strengthen the direct connection between services and engineering, to influence system design for optimal supportability in service
  • Working with local ILS suppliers /subcontractor and organization for the startup of the subcontracted activities
  • Management of Supplier(s), for the different ILS work packages (work packages preparation, planning, periodical reporting meetings, quality checks on the deliverables and related administrative documents)
  • Review of subcontractor’s technical scope
  • Coordination with all relevant internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Production, Supply Chain, Sales, Project Managers, Customers)
  • Coordination of entry into service phase with service transition teams
  • Periodical reporting to international ILS team lead
  • Link and liaison with ILS Team in Germany and Spain
  • Participate in Customer ILS progress meetings Preparation for entry into Service:
  • The ILS Manager is responsible for defining and implementing the service and support capability of Rohde & Schwarz for products, systems, and customer projects. The goal is to implement a service and support concept that meets the contractually agreed requirements from supply contracts for products, systems, and customer projects, as well as service contracts (e.g., Service Level Agreement)
  • Identify and implement required service and support structures as well as capabilities
  • Implement contract details in SAP and C4C (contract number, support teams, KPIs, etc.)
  • Initiating and monitoring the service-oriented material introduction, including subcontractor management
  • Create and maintain the Service Implementation Plan until handover to the Service Delivery Manager (SDM)
  • Coordinate and initiate the creation and maintenance of the system bill of materials
  • Ensure spare parts availability within customer projects
  • Implement the training concept for internal and external service and support personnel
  • Participate in the FAT & FinAT to finalize service and support-related information
  • Conduct an end-to-end test of the defined service processes
  • Hand over and explain the defined service concept to the Service Delivery Manager and the Service and Support Structure
  • Contribute to the service product development process if necessary

Your qualifications

  • Studies in Engineering, Business Administrations or comparable course of study
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate and influence different stakeholders
  • Deep knowledge of ILS end-to-end process and standards
  • Extensive Technical and Project management experience (minimum 4 years) in various ILS projects
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Knowledge of S1000D and other ILS standards
  • Knowledge of the main ILS production tools (e.g. Eagle, Arbortex Editor, Windchill)
  • Reliable and structured way of working
  • Ability to work in international teams, take the initiative and propose solutions
  • Fluent in English and Dutch languages (written and spoken)
