Key facts
The R&S®HA230/403 HF receiving antenna is a versatile shortwave antenna for horizontally and vertically polarized waves. The antenna has a mast head with a vertical monopole and two horizontal dipoles mounted at a 90° angle. The antenna is installed on a 6 m mast. The antenna is particularly suitable for polarization-diverse reception with its electrically isolated and decoupled radiators.
For better monitoring results
The R&S®HA230/403 consists of one vertical monopole and two horizontal dipoles mounted at a 90° angle. Each of the radiators has a connecting cable. Only one radiator is in use at any time, i.e. the radiator delivering the highest voltage to the receiver. This improves monitoring performance.
For polarization-diversity reception
The R&S®HA230/403 has three separate, electrically isolated and decoupled radiators, making the antenna ideal for receiving installations operating with diverse polarization.
