Ensuring reliable performance in real-world conditions is a key challenge for cellular and non-cellular device development. Bluetest addresses this with its RTS reverberation chambers, which simulate realistic indoor and urban environments. Combined with Bluetest’s Flow control software, these integrated test systems enable comprehensive antenna and radio performance validation, including MIMO and multi-carrier testing.
The latest version of Bluetest’s Flow software (v1.18) enables developers to perform 5G NR Standalone (SA), 5G NR Non-Standalone (EN-DC), and LTE testing using the CMX500 OBT within the Bluetest RTS. Bluetest has also expanded its earlier integrated testing capabilities for WLAN stations and access points (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be), now supporting bandwidth up to 320 MHz for W-Fi®7. This allows developers to comprehensively validate their wireless designs against the latest cellular and Wi-Fi® standards, all with a single tester and reverberation test system.
Christoph Pointner, Senior Vice President of Mobile Radio Testers at Rohde & Schwarz, said: “Integrating our CMX500 OBT with Bluetest’s RTS technology allows mobile device manufacturers to leverage its advanced multi-technology and multi-channel signaling testing capabilities. It unlocks the potential of our tester within Bluetest’s industry-leading reverberation test systems.”
Karl-Johan Holm, Bluetest CEO, said: “Together with Rohde & Schwarz CMX500 OBT, we’re giving developers one integrated path to validate radio and antenna performance – from WiFi® to LTE and 5G SA/NSA – inside our reverberation chambers with our Flow software. It’s end-to-end, fast, and repeatable.”
