Your tasks

As a member of one of our 3GPP technologies teams, your key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the design and implementation of specific 3GPP 5G protocol conformance features and toolsets.
Supporting the design and implementation of 3GPP stack features, tests, and tools.
Involvement in design and development of tools and features leading towards 6G.
Investigating and resolving customer requests related to 3GPP 5G protocol stack.
Learning about the development of complex software applications using C++ and Python, including testing strategies.
Collaborating with industry experts in the UK and Germany to gain knowledge of cutting-edge wireless and telecommunication technologies, RF engineering, and AI/ML.
Working independently or collaboratively in a dynamic environment as part of a larger team, depending on your current tasks.
Gaining hands-on experience with AI/ML and its application in development and customer projects.
Contributing to the 5G standardisation process through close collaboration with 3GPP experts.
Participating in ongoing process improvement and innovation initiatives within the team.

Your qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
To be studying for a degree in electronic engineering, computer science, AI/ML, or a related STEM field with programming modules.
Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming (e.g., C++ or similar).
Some understanding of wireless telecommunications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
