Rohde & Schwarz has joined Fujikura and Avnet to validate their new development kit for 5G mmWave phased array antenna modules. The R&S ATS800B benchtop CATR OTA test system from Rohde & Schwarz is ideal for prototype testing in an open environment.
In this demo, we showcase AR in the context of Over-The-Air (OTA) testing by visualizing an antenna pattern over a Device Under Test (DUT) inside the R&S®ATS800R chamber, enabling control of a positioner through hand gestures. The setup is based on the R&S CMP200 radio communication tester, the UWB OTA box and the R&S ATS800R shielding chamber, which includes a new tilt-tilt positioner. This positioner enables to test the performance of the phase difference of arrival (PDOA) in co-polarization with the test antenna.
