Oscilloscope software

All Rohde & Schwarz oscilloscopes can help trigger and decode I2C, as well as 2-wire, 3-wire and 4-wire SPI buses. The same is true for UART, RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 buses. Custom decode is also included for any Manchester and NRZ coded serial protocol with data rates of up to 5 Gbit/s and Manchester violation detection. Furthermode, R&S®RTO6 oscilloscopes can cover trigger and decode on I²S audio standard, left and right justified and TDM signals.
You can set up decoding in seconds. For detailed analysis, results can be viewed as color-coded frames as a protocol decode overlay and/or in a table. Errors are identified efficiently and reliably with the hardware-accelerated trigger. You can trigger on start, stop, address, data and various error conditions.

You can analyze the decoded bus frames by overlaying the signal with color-coded data. Address and data content can be displayed in hex, bin and ASCII format. Flexible screen setup ensures that you always have an excellent overview. The colored frames of the protocol decode overlay can also be displayed in a concise table.

Comprehensive search functions simplify analysis of long signal sequences. Search for waveforms based on various criteria such as signal faults and protocol content.
