Log-periodic HF antenna for high-sensitivity radiomonitoring

The R&S®HL210A3 log-periodic HF antenna can receive ground waves and vertically polarized skywaves and detects very weak signals. Based on the physical characteristics of vertically polarized waves, maximum sensitivity is possible at low and medium elevation angles and the R&S®HL210A3 radiation pattern is ideal for this. The antenna azimuth range is about 120° and can be enhanced to 360° with two further antennas. The antenna frequency range, environmental data and size can be adjusted. It can be combined with the R&S®HL410A3 log-periodic HF antenna for additional reception of horizontally polarized waves.

Features & benefits

Extremely wide frequency range

Saves money and maintains performance

The R&S®HL210A3 covers the extremely wide frequency range from 1.5 MHz to 30 MHz, saving money and space that would be needed to mount a multiple antenna system.

Reception of even very weak signals

For high-sensitivity radiomonitoring

The sophisticated antenna design can receive even very weak signals over short, medium and long distances, enabling applications such as high-sensitivity radiomonitoring.

Compact antenna for the frequency range from 1.5 MHz to 30 MHz

Reduce antenna site costs

The advanced antenna design is compact for the frequency range covered (length of antenna array approx. 97 m, height of supporting mast approx. 90 m), reducing antenna site costs.
