As we navigate the challenges of 2025, the complexity and demands for products and devices are ever increasing. With faster charging, higher power, shrinking form factors and ever-growing demands on data and processing, powerful test and measurement tools and techniques have never been more important for designing, producing and maintaining devices and their electronics.

Our seminar “Testing, Validation, and Debugging of Electronics and Devices With Oscilloscopes” aims to equip engineers with the knowledge, resources and tools to meet the growing challenges. Join us and network with experts and peers, and see our leading solutions in person at live demos.

Key takeaways

  • Using oscilloscopes to troubleshoot signal integrity issues such as jitter, skew, and ringing
  • How to perform emissions testing and immunity testing for electronic devices
  • Tips for designing and implementing effective shielding and filtering to minimize EMI
  • Understanding the impact of decoupling capacitors and power delivery networks on system performance
  • How to set up and use triggers, probes, and measurement tools to debug high-speed digital signals

Reasons to attend

  • Save Time: Reduce debugging time by quickly identifying root causes of issues.
  • Save Effort: Debug more efficiently with best practices, minimizing iterations and new bugs and errors.
  • Save Cost: Shorten debugging, testing, and validation time to minimize costs and boost profitability.

Agenda

TIME PROGRAM SPEAKER
09:30 am Registration and Exhibition
10:00 am Welcome and introductions Sutinee Ammaneerat

Managing Director, Rohde & Schwarz (Thailand)
10:30 am EMC standards in Thailand
This session is an in-depth look at the current electromagnetic compatibility standards and regulations in Thailand, highlighting the importance of compliance in the design and manufacturing process.
Dr. Vitawat Sittakul

Associate Professor, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok
11:00 am Embedded design and power integrity challenges

This presentation explores at the relationship between power integrity and electromagnetic interference (EMI) in embedded design. Effective power management is important because power supply problems can cause EMI issues. New semiconductor technologies like Silicon Carbide (SiC) and Gallium Nitride (GaN) can also create growing EMC challenges, but these can be solved using oscilloscopes. By managing power integrity and EMC, designers can make their embedded designs more reliable and efficient.
Heng Wee Boo

Senior Engineer, Regional Applications, Rohde & Schwarz.
12:00 pm Lunch
1:30 pm Embedded High Speed Design Debugging Tips & Tricks

This seminar shares tips and tricks for debugging high-speed designs. We discuss common problems in digital design, such as signal integrity, timing issues, and parasitic effects. The use of tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and software to troubleshoot digital circuits and improve measurement accuracy is covered. By attending, designers can gain practical skills to make their designs more reliable.
Heng Wee Boo

Senior Engineer, Regional Applications, Rohde & Schwarz.
2:30 pm Coffee break
2:45 pm How to select the right Oscilloscope to debug your design

Selecting the right oscilloscope is crucial for debugging your design. We share key considerations for choosing an oscilloscope, including bandwidth, sampling rate, and memory depth. The importance of signal integrity, probe selection, and triggering techniques is also covered. By attending, designers can gain practical knowledge to make informed decisions when selecting the right oscilloscope and probe to debug their designs.
