Rohde & Schwarz China und Zhuhai DingLi Corp., Ltd. haben im Rahmen der zentralen Beschaffung von China Mobile für das Jahr 2021 gemeinsam den Zuschlag für die Lieferung von 5G-Scannern erhalten. Der R&S TSME6 Drive Test Scanner mit seinem ultrakompakten Design und seiner Multiband- und Multitechnologie-Unterstützung für gleichzeitige Messungen konnte einen Projektanteil von 70 % auf sich verbuchen. Damit setzte sich Rohde & Schwarz zum dritten Mal in Folge bei einer Frequenzscanner-Ausschreibung von China Mobile durch. Der R&S TSME6 erweist sich mit seiner branchenführenden Performance und umfassenden Funktionalität als zuverlässiges Messwerkzeug für China Mobiles 5G-Netzentwicklung und Optimierung im Feld.

Having already supplied an UAE customer with radios in the past, Rohde & Schwarz has been chosen again, as the company provided the best solution for the customer. Each mobile ATC tower consists of a cabin equipped with consoles, all installed on a lifting system fixed on a trailer that is fitted to be transportable by a C17 transport aircraft. Each cabin has been designed to accommodate three controller working positions, equipped with R&S Series4200 software defined radios, CERTIUM VCS voice communications system, CERTIUM Management and CERTIUM Gateways.

London vessel traffic services (VTS) communication equipment for the Port of London Authority (PLA) Working with PLA engineers at the authority’s control centres in Gravesend, Kent and the Thames Barrier Navigation Centre (TBNC) in Woolwich, Rohde & Schwarz has installed an advanced, VoIP-based maritime communications system to handle all VTS communications. The new, customised system enhances the PLA’s ability to control movement of vessels within the Port of London, which spans the entire coastal Thames from Teddington Lock to the North Sea, and provides future-proof scalability as the VTS requirements continue to evolve.

The China Telecommunication Technology Labs (CTTL) Terminal labs at the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) successfully conducted specific absorption rate and hearing aid compatibility testing for 5G new radio mobile devices.
