R&S®TSMx is the product family for state-of-the-art network scanners for drive and walk tests and includes the R&S®TSMS8, R&S®TSMA6B and R&S®TSME6 scanners. R&S®TSMx products passively capture data from the air interface, offering a pure and accurate view of RF performance and MIB/SIB/Layer 3 messages from the most popular technologies without needing to subscribe to network services.
5G NR support in FR1 up to 8.5 GHz and mmWave (17 to 53 GHz) with R&S®TSMS53DC
The R&S®TSMx is a future-proof hardware platform with an in-field upgrade available for 5G NR (including RedCap and FrMCS) sub 8.5 GHz and mmWave measurements . The additional hardware (R&S®TSME44DC/R&S®TSMS53DC) needed to measure mmWave frequency bands can be installed for simplified measurement setups and reduced setup times. Without SIM cards, the system performs demodulation of L3/SIB messages (Release 17).

Automatically detect all bands and technologies
The R&S®TSMx detects active channels in a specified band. 5G NR (incl. RedCap), LTE (incl. LTE-M), UMTS, CDMA2000®/1xEV-DO, TETRA, P25 and NB-IoT networks are supported. A spectrum scan option to significantly speed up detection is also available. In this mode, channel lists no longer have to be set up before a measurement campaign. The measurement system dynamically identifies new channels and adds them to the workspace during drive tests.
Automatic channel detection (ACD)
Automatically estimate cell positions in all networks
During a drive test, R&S®ROMES software can use measurement data and GPS data from the R&S®TSMx to estimate the geographic positions of base stations. The calculation is fast and accurate. GSM, WCDMA, LTE, 5G NR, CDMA2000®/1xEVDO and TETRA networks are supported in parallel. This unique feature enables users to quickly generate a base station list for export or graphic display.
BTS position estimation
Network synchronization in the time domain is getting even more important since the introduction of 5G NR in TDD mode. R&S®TSMx drive and walk test scanners can measure the time of arrival offset between PPS pulses (or the internal receiver clock) and received 5G NR and LTE signal sequences to determine network synchronization quality. Measuring the time alignment error (TAE) for network components is a special network optimization task. Filters, cables, antenna arrays and signal processing modules are potential sources for added time delays. Deviation from the network timebase necessarily causes frequency drift. To measure the frequency accuracy for a 5G NR cell, R&S®TSMx scanners provide measurements of the precise SSB center frequency (accuracy within a few Hz).
The web based programming interface allows the scanners to be quickly integrated into any third-party software, regardless of the operating system. Both mobile network testing and cellular network analysis use cases are supported. See the R&S®TSMX-API brochure in the download section for details.
A comprehensive range of accessories is available. Rohde & Schwarz offers wideband omnidirectional antennas with magnetic or fixed mounts for drive testing in Sub 8.5 GHz frequency range. To fully meet requirements across the entire FR1 spectrum, the R&S®TSMS-OMN8 omnidirectional antenna is available. Its wide frequency coverage spans from 380 MHz (lower band) to 8.5 GHz (upper band), which makes it an ideal solution for the entire FR1 frequency spectrum and partly for FR3. The R&S®TSMS-OMN70 is a wideband omnidirectional antenna for mmWave applications with optimized walk and drive testing patterns. The R&S®TSMS-LMAGM from Rohde & Schwarz is a robust magnetic antenna mount specifically designed for drive testing applications. It is available in multiple variants to cover different frequency ranges (FR1 or FR2) and provides excellent compatibility with the in-house developed omnidirectional antennas.
Cellular vehicle-to-everything network testing
Cellular V2X is the new industry standard for vehicle connectivity, improved road safety and more efficient traffic management. It enables direct communications between individual vehicles and between vehicles and network infrastructure such as road side units (RSU). The K36 option enables the R&S®TSMx to measure PC5 sidelink interface coverage and quality for reliable V2X communications.

1. O sorteio de prêmios “10 anos dos osciloscópios da Rohde & Schwarz” (no presente, referido como “Sorteio”) é organizado pela Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG, Mühldorfstraße 15, 81671 Munique, Alemanha, tel. +49 89 41 29 0 (doravante referida como “R&S”).
2. Todos os participantes podem se inscrever durante o período de 1º de janeiro de 2020 a 31 de dezembro de 2020, informando seu nome, nome da empresa e e-mail comercial.
3. A participação é gratuita e não depende da compra de mercadorias ou serviços.
4. O sorteio está aberto somente a pessoas jurídicas e apenas às pessoas jurídicas que possam ganhar os prêmios. Pessoas físicas não poderão participar em nome e interesse próprios, mas como representantes de uma pessoa jurídica, devendo preencher a ficha de participação em nome e segundo o interesse da pessoa jurídica.
5. Os prêmios a serem entregues são 1 de 10 R&S®RTB2000, no período de 1º de janeiro de 2020 a 31 de dezembro de 2020:

6. O sorteio ocorrerá na sede da R&S, em Munique, à Muehldorstrasse 15, 81671. O ganhador dos prêmios será avisado por e-mail no prazo de cinco (5) dias úteis.
7. O representante autorizado da pessoa jurídica informará à R&S sobre a aceitação do preço. Caso a aceitação seja negada ou se não houver resposta em até duas (2) semanas, um novo ganhador será sorteado. Se não for possível definir um ganhador no prazo de quatro (4) semanas, o sorteio se encerrará e o prêmio prescreverá.
8. Aos funcionários da R&S e seus familiares, bem como às pessoas familiarizadas com o processo do sorteio e seus familiares, é vetado o preenchimento da ficha de participação.
9. Não são permitidos equivalente em dinheiro ou troca de prêmios. Os prêmios são intransferíveis. Todos os impostos, tributos, encargos, taxas e outras cobranças tributáveis no país do participante serão arcadas pelo participante.
10. Dados pessoais somente serão processados para os fins deste sorteio e excluídos quatro (4) semanas após o sorteio, se não acordado de outro modo.
11. O participante que não cumprir os presentes Termos e Condições estará sujeito à desclassificação pela R&S da participação neste concurso. Neste caso, os prêmios também poderão ser retirados retroativamente. Se um prêmio estiver sujeito à retirada retrospectiva por motivo de incumprimento dos presentes Termos e Condições, ele deverá ser devolvido pelo respectivo participante, às suas expensas, para o endereço da R&S mencionado na disposição N.1, e um novo ganhador será sorteado.
12. Os participantes não podem reivindicar os prêmios do sorteio e não são autorizados recursos legais neste sentido.
13. O sorteio e a relação contratual decorrente, entre a R&S e o respectivo participante, serão regidos e interpretados de acordo com as leis da Alemanha, sem dar efeito ao princípio do conflito de leis. Os tribunais de Munique, Alemanha, gozarão de jurisdição exclusiva em caso de disputa decorrente, direta ou indiretamente, da participação neste concurso.
