The PVT360A is a VSG/VSA single-box vector tester optimized for FR1 base station, small cell and RF component testing in production and characterization environments. Two independent signal generators and analyzers enable fast parallel measurements. A frequency range of up to 8 GHz (8.5 GHz in overrange), flexible bandwidth configuration and an optional second TRX channel combine performance and flexibility in a small form factor.

Keycode options for hardware extensions

The basic PVT360A configuration with the R&S®PVT-B106H option supports a frequency range of 400 MHz to 6 GHz and a bandwidth of 250 MHz on the first TRX. The instrument also comes fully equipped and calibrated for its maximum configuration. It has everything you need to activate a frequency range up to 8 GHz (8.5 GHz in overrange), a bandwidth extension of 500 MHz and the second TRX. The instrument can be adapted to your needs at any time.

Hardware-accelerated test sequencing

Speed is essential when performing multiple tests. The PVT360A automates testing and accelerates hardware test sequencing for extremely fast measurements. Using the ARB sequencer, waveforms can directly be queried from the RAM. The integrated signal generator and analyzer enable seamless interaction between the transmit and receive paths.

Internal switch matrix

(for multi port option only)

The PVT360A switch matrix has outstanding flexibility and maximum resource utilization. When testing multiple DUTs or multiport devices, connectivity to the PVT360A via the various RF ports eliminates the need for an external switch matrix.
Each of the two optional generators can broadcast signals on up to 8 RF output ports. The signal analysis path can be assigned to one of eight RF input ports. The low switching time enables fast sequential measurements.

Smart channel

The R&S®PVT-K108 smart channel option virtually divides the PVT360A into as many as eight subinstruments. Virtual pairs of signal generators and analyzers can be controlled independently of one another. While generator and analyzer hardware is shared across the virtual instruments, processing and calculation is parallelized for maximum utilization and speed.

Manual and automated operation

The PVT360A GUI is accessible via a web interface or a connected monitor and provides a structured overview of signal generation and analysis settings.
The PVT360A also comes with SCPI support for automation and python libraries for easy automated testing. ARB sequencing allows ARB files to be accessed directly from the RAM, eliminating file loading times. Hardware based test sequencing further increases test speeds for excellent measurement throughput.

Comprehensive signal generation and analysis

R&S®WinIQSIM2 external PC software supports the configuration and generation of ARB signals for multiple cellular and wireless connectivity standards.
A variety of measurement features for general purpose, cellular and wireless standards are available for signal analysis. The signal analysis applications provide insight into the physical layer and RF performance of the analyzed signal. The internal GUI or the R&S®VSE software provide a graphical representation of results.

Base station and small cell testing

The PVT360A provides measurement capabilities to test the physical layer of base stations and small cells. All FR1 frequency bands are covered with frequencies up to 8 GHz (8.5 GHz in overrange) and a bandwidth of  500 MHz. Standard-compliant signal generation and analysis for LTE and 5G NR up to release 17 for comprehensive, typical base station transmitter and receiver testing.

The signal generation and analysis applications enable comprehensive component testing with modulated signals. A broad range of test applications for component testing is available with R&S®WinIQSIM2 and R&S®VSE software.
From amplifier characterization to signal analysis based on wireless standards, a wide range of tests can be carried out. High RF performance suitable for demanding measurements enables in-depth DUT testing for various signal parameters, while providing performance insight.

Enhanced testing in production environments

The PVT360A has different methods for parallelized tests and optimal resource utilization. The smart channel feature and a 2 × eight-port switch matrix (multi port instrument) / 2 × two-port switch matrix (high power instrument) virtually divide the PVT360A into subinstruments with shared signal generation hardware resources. Measurements can be performed in parallel for up to two TRX tests and when more DUTs or ports are connected, the tests can be run in parallel with automated resource scheduling.

1. O sorteio de prêmios “10 anos dos osciloscópios da Rohde & Schwarz” (no presente, referido como “Sorteio”) é organizado pela Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG, Mühldorfstraße 15, 81671 Munique, Alemanha, tel. +49 89 41 29 0 (doravante referida como “R&S”).

2. Todos os participantes podem se inscrever durante o período de 1º de janeiro de 2020 a 31 de dezembro de 2020, informando seu nome, nome da empresa e e-mail comercial.

3. A participação é gratuita e não depende da compra de mercadorias ou serviços.

4. O sorteio está aberto somente a pessoas jurídicas e apenas às pessoas jurídicas que possam ganhar os prêmios. Pessoas físicas não poderão participar em nome e interesse próprios, mas como representantes de uma pessoa jurídica, devendo preencher a ficha de participação em nome e segundo o interesse da pessoa jurídica.

5. Os prêmios a serem entregues são 1 de 10 R&S®RTB2000, no período de 1º de janeiro de 2020 a 31 de dezembro de 2020:

6. O sorteio ocorrerá na sede da R&S, em Munique, à Muehldorstrasse 15, 81671. O ganhador dos prêmios será avisado por e-mail no prazo de cinco (5) dias úteis.

7. O representante autorizado da pessoa jurídica informará à R&S sobre a aceitação do preço. Caso a aceitação seja negada ou se não houver resposta em até duas (2) semanas, um novo ganhador será sorteado. Se não for possível definir um ganhador no prazo de quatro (4) semanas, o sorteio se encerrará e o prêmio prescreverá.

8. Aos funcionários da R&S e seus familiares, bem como às pessoas familiarizadas com o processo do sorteio e seus familiares, é vetado o preenchimento da ficha de participação.

9. Não são permitidos equivalente em dinheiro ou troca de prêmios. Os prêmios são intransferíveis. Todos os impostos, tributos, encargos, taxas e outras cobranças tributáveis no país do participante serão arcadas pelo participante.

10. Dados pessoais somente serão processados para os fins deste sorteio e excluídos quatro (4) semanas após o sorteio, se não acordado de outro modo.

11. O participante que não cumprir os presentes Termos e Condições estará sujeito à desclassificação pela R&S da participação neste concurso. Neste caso, os prêmios também poderão ser retirados retroativamente. Se um prêmio estiver sujeito à retirada retrospectiva por motivo de incumprimento dos presentes Termos e Condições, ele deverá ser devolvido pelo respectivo participante, às suas expensas, para o endereço da R&S mencionado na disposição N.1, e um novo ganhador será sorteado.

12. Os participantes não podem reivindicar os prêmios do sorteio e não são autorizados recursos legais neste sentido.

13. O sorteio e a relação contratual decorrente, entre a R&S e o respectivo participante, serão regidos e interpretados de acordo com as leis da Alemanha, sem dar efeito ao princípio do conflito de leis. Os tribunais de Munique, Alemanha, gozarão de jurisdição exclusiva em caso de disputa decorrente, direta ou indiretamente, da participação neste concurso.
