New compliance test automation software from Rohde & Schwarz for IEEE 802.3 cable assemblies allows for precise and time-saving compliance tests of high-speed cables and backplanes according to the IEEE 802.3bj, by, cd and ck standards. The R&S ZNrun vector network analyzer automation suite controls a vector network analyzer and a switching solution from Rohde & Schwarz to provide automated testing of high-speed Ethernet cable assemblies, considerably reducing the testing time and potential errors compared to manual Ethernet cable assembly test methods. Rohde & Schwarz demonstrates the solution for the first time at DesignCon 2022 in Santa Clara, California.

Малая сота представляет собой компактную базовую станцию с уменьшенным форм-фактором и пониженной мощностью передачи по сравнению со стандартной базовой станцией макросоты. Она охватывает малую территорию и обслуживает меньшее число абонентов. Как правило, малая сота может быть интегрирована в существующую сеть мобильной связи. По мере развития технологии радиодоступа роль малой соты непрерывно менялась. В эпоху 2G/3G она обеспечивала покрытие в углах. Позднее в сетях LTE она обеспечивала не только покрытие, но и пропускную способность. Здесь малые соты при необходимости расширяли пропускную способность сети без добавления спектра. Сегодня в эпоху 5G операторы сетей используют уплотнение в качестве важной стратегии для обеспечения непрерывной доступности услуг 5G, для которых также требуются покрытие, пропускная способность и рабочие характеристики сетей. Для сценариев использования в миллиметровом диапазоне 5G имеет смысл применять малые соты в целях уплотнения ввиду характеристик распространения миллиметрового диапазона.В этом руководстве по применению рассматриваются аспекты испытаний малых сот на протяжении всего жизненного цикла.
