Für Rundfunksender gelten allgemein besonders hohe Anforderungen an die Qualität des ausgestrahlten Signals, da bereits kleine Beeinträchtigungen zu Versorgungsausfällen bei vielen Zuschauern führen können oder benachbarte Kanäle stören können.Mit nur einem Messgerät, dem R&S®ETL TV-Analysator, lassen sich am DVB-T2-Sender alle erforderlichen Messungen von anfänglicher Senderabnahme über Inbetriebnahme bis hin zur regelmäßigen Wartung durchführen.Die beschriebenen Messungen entsprechen vielen länder- und kundenspezifischen Prüfnormen. Lediglich die Grenzwerte sind gegebenenfalls anzupassen.
