Mit zwei neuen Source Measure Units (SMU) tritt Rohde & Schwarz in einen Markt ein, der vom Portfolio des Messtechnikspezialisten bisher nicht abgedeckt wurde. Die neuen R&S NGU201 und R&S NGU401 Source Measure Units können Strom und Spannung gleichzeitig liefern und messen, und das mit hoher Präzision. Das Zweiquadrantenmodell R&S NGU201 ist für Batterietests an Wireless-Geräten vorgesehen und schaltet bei einer definierten positiven Eingangsspannung automatisch vom Quell- in den Lastbetrieb. Das Vierquadrantenmodell R&S NGU401 führt diese Umschaltung auch bei negativen Spannungen durch und unterstützt damit Versorgungsmessungen für Anwendungen unterschiedlichster Art.
