Solution de calibration et de vérification

La technologie UWB (bande ultra large) est une technologie radio large bande à courte portée spécifiée pour la communication de dispositifs fonctionnant au sein d'un spectre sans licence. Il s'agit d'une technologie de positionnement RF qui permet des tests peer-to-peer précis et sécurisés entre des appareils mobiles avec une résistance solide aux interférences, tout en consommant très peu d'énergie et en coexistant très bien avec d'autres systèmes de communication radio. L'UWB est utilisée pour un grand nombre d'applications différentes, telles que le suivi d'élément, le paiement sécurisé, les traceurs personnels, les services de localisation en temps réel, ainsi que les accès sans clé et le démarrage d'un véhicule etc. Selon les prévisions d'ABI Research, il y aura bien plus d'1 milliard d'envois de dispositifs UWB par an d'ici 2026. Quasiment tous les smartphones expédiés d'ici 2026 prendront en charge les services UWB.Parlons de l'aspect du test d'un dispositif UWB, en général deux méthodologies de test peuvent être adoptées comme d'autres produits sans fil, soit le mode de test traditionnel (également appelé mode de test conduit) avec une connexion RF câblées entre l'équipement de mesure et le dispositif sous test (DUT), soit le mode de test sans fil (OTA) dans une chambre anéchoïque sans fil. Parfois, il n'est pas toujours possible ou nécessaire d'effectuer les tests en mode conduit du fait de les facteurs de limitation, par exemple le coût, l'espace, la complexité et l'accès direct aux connecteurs RF du produit. Dans ce cas, le test sans fil devient alors une approche inévitable. D'autre part, le test sans fil reflète l'utilisation du DUT en conditions réelles.Dans cette note d'application, la solution de test sans fil R&S® couvrant le test de l'émetteur (Tx), du récepteur (Rx) et du temps de vol (ToF) dans un environnement de test automatisé sans fil (WMT), est décrite. Les résultats de mesure tout au long du document sont basés sur le circuit intégré UWB automobile NXP Trimension™ NCJ29D5.
