Rohde & Schwarz and u-blox validate module compliance with the new Chinese GNSS automotive specification GB/T 45086.1-2024u-blox, a leading global supplier of GNSS modules, and Rohde & Schwarz have successfully validated u-blox’s latest automotive GNSS module in accordance with the recently published Chinese GB/T test requirement for automotive on-board GNSS positioning systems using an automated R&S SMBV100B based GNSS simulator solution. This cutting-edge solution will be demonstrated at Mobile World Congress 2025 in Barcelona.

Rohde & Schwarz collaborates with Qualcomm to test 3GPP Rel. 17 GSO and GEO satellite chipsets for IoT-NTNRohde & Schwarz, in collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., will conduct a comprehensive set of tests for NB-IoT over non-terrestrial networks (NTN) to accurately verify two-way internet of things (IoT) data across various operating modes using GSO and GEO constellations in line with the 3GPP Release 17. At the MWC Shanghai 2023, Rohde & Schwarz will hold a live demonstration of the test solution at the company’s booth with Qualcomm Technologies’ NTN Release 17 IoT chipsets.

This solution measures the performance of the global navigation satellite system (GNSS) receiver in a wireless device. This is critical because Assisted-GNSS is used for E911 emergency calls over 5G.
