Rohde & Schwarz, a global leader in test and measurement and trusted partner for EMC turnkey solutions, has extended its proven R&S®BBA130 RF amplifier range with new, higher power versions offering 6500 W, 9500 W and 13,000 W. Designed for high-intensity radiated field (HIRF) test applications, the amplifiers offer saturated power of up to 13 kW covering frequencies from 80 MHz to 1 GHz.

AFMETCAL, the Air Force Metrology and Calibration Authority, has ordered signal source analyzers (SSA) from Rohde & Schwarz. They will be operated in AFMETCAL’s precision measurement equipment laboratories (PMEL’s) and Air Force primary standards laboratory (AFPSL). The signal source analyzers are used for calibration of phase noise analog (AM, FM & PM) and digital modulation measurements. For phase noise measurement Rohde & Schwarz has also provided cross-correlation offering very high sensitivity, flexibility and fast measurement speed — all in one box.

At MWC 2024, Rohde & Schwarz will showcase its latest Wi-Fi 7 test solutions for R&D and production to meet the ever-increasing test challenges posed by the technology and the parallel operation with LTE and 5G cellular standards.

The R&S®ESRP EMI test receiver has been designed for diagnostic measurements during development and for precompliance measurements in order to prepare products for final certification testing. It measures electromagnetic disturbances in the frequency range from 10 Hz to 7 GHz, using either conventional stepped frequency scan or an FFT-based time domain scan, a method that significantly speeds up measurements. At the same time, the R&S®ESRP is a full-featured, powerful signal and spectrum analyzer for lab applications.

The demonstration at Mobile World Congress 2025 in Barcelona is based on the PVT360A performance vector tester from Rohde & Schwarz characterizing the Pegatron 5G PR1450 O-RU.
