Kyocera has developed an innovative mmWave phased array antenna module (PAAM) that simultaneously creates multiple beams in different directions at different frequencies, for use in 5G FR2 infrastructure installations. Kyocera relies on CATR-based multi-reflector OTA testing technology from Rohde & Schwarz for optimal beam steering and beam directivity of their product.

This application note introduces the IVI High Speed LAN Instrument Protocol (HiSLIP) and outlines its features. HiSLIP is the successor to the VXI-11 LAN remote control protocol. This document also describes guidelines for using this protocol.
