Oscilloscope software

The R&S®RTO-K22 option offers an automated test solution of 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet interfaces according to the IEEE and ANSI test specifications. The test wizard guides you via illustrated step-by-step instructions. You can document the results in a configurable test report. The complete Ethernet compliance test solution includes the R&S®RT-ZF2 Test Fixture and the R&S®RTO-B6 Waveform generator.

Complete test solution

The complete test solution covers all relevant test cases of the IEEE and ANSI test specification for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-Tx and 1000BASE-T. A test fixture guarantees accurate signal probing via differential probes and completes the scope of the test solution.

The R&S®ScopeSuite has a test wizard for guided steps. The tests used are fully automatic. In addition, single tests can be carried out for efficient debugging. The limit editor lets you individually adjust standard-specific test limits.

Ease-of-use with image-based guided test steps

The Ethernet compliance test is a fully guided test. Detailed, image-based instructions make it easy to correctly connect the oscilloscope and the probes to the test fixture and the device under test. This increases the ease-of-use and reduces potential setup errors.

Strong reporting functionality

The test results are fully documented in a report created by the R&S®ScopeSuite. Depending on the user’s preference, the test report can include numerical result data or oscilloscope screen shots. The available output formats are PDF, DOC and HTML.

High Definition Mode for higher test yield

With the optional High Definition mode, the vertical resolution of the oscilloscope is increased to up to 16 bit. The compliance test results will be more accurate. As a result the test yield is increased.
