Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc. has an opening in our Columbia, MD office for Post Sales Specialist. This role is critical in supporting our sales organization to ensure customer satisfaction by proactively supporting handover of customer orders to transition between sales and contracts order management/program management. Key responsibilities include managing customer accounts, processing and tracking orders, maintaining sales records, and analyzing sales data and delivery to identify improvement opportunities. This role requires strong communication, customer service, organization, problem-solving, and technical skills, including proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and SAP software.

Your tasks

  • Ensure accurate and timely handoff between sales, contracts, and customer fulfillment organizations.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and technical issues while coordinating with internal teams to ensure resolution and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately track, process, and update customer orders, manage order status and shipping details to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Maintain organized customer records, update sales databases, and handle sales documentation.
  • Provide support to the sales team, share sales data and reports, and contribute to the creation of sales materials and strategies.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in sales transactions, product issues, and other post-purchase matters.
  • Contribute and suggest improvements in sales processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and the customer experience.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data and trends, and prepare reports to help the sales team make informed decisions.

Your qualifications

  • Associates Degree or higher in Business Administration, Program Administration or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years' experience in program administration, customer service/relations is preferred.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP
  • Ability to create well organized clear presentation of information in Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • A strong commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to provide compassionate and effective support.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and projects.
  • The ability to proactively identify issues, analyze situations, and implement effective solutions.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well within a team to achieve common goals.
  • Candidates must be a US Person capable of public trust clearance

The total compensation for this position is $60K-$80K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
