Raydiall, a world leading FAKRA and HSD connector manufacturer for the automotive industry, together with their partner Yazaki, a global automotive parts supplier with focus on wire harness, connectors and other terminals, have developed a Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) connector for 1000BASE-T1 in accordance with the OPEN Alliance TC9 specification. Rohde & Schwarz assisted Raydiall to verify the development and test compliance of such connectors with the use of a R&S ZNB8 4-port vector network analyzer.

Emitech, a company specializing in applied testing for product qualification in the automotive sector, has inaugurated its new vehicle test center in Montigny-le-Bretonneux, France. The EMC chamber is equipped with a complete EMC test system from Rohde & Schwarz including R&S BBA150, R&S BBA130 and R&S BBL200 broadband amplifiers, R&S ESW44 test receivers, R&S SMB100B RF signal generators and power meters. AFMETCAL, the Air Force Metrology and Calibration Authority, has ordered signal source analyzers (SSA) from Rohde & Schwarz. They will be operated in AFMETCAL’s precision measurement equipment laboratories (PMEL’s) and Air Force primary standards laboratory (AFPSL). The signal source analyzers are used for calibration of phase noise analog (AM, FM & PM) and digital modulation measurements. For phase noise measurement Rohde & Schwarz has also provided cross-correlation offering very high sensitivity, flexibility and fast measurement speed — all in one box.

The PTCRB certification organization has approved the first radio ressource management (RRM) conformance test cases for FR2 with two angles of arrival (2xAoA), using the R&S TS-RRM-NR 5G RRM conformance test system from Rohde & Schwarz.
