The webinar gives a comprehensive overview of testing reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS). RIS is envisioned as a key technology in driving the upcoming 6G mobile communication standard. As mobile communication systems operate within stringent regulations and standards, it is crucial to test, qualify and certify RIS modules before they are integrated into a wireless network.

In this webinar, we cover the basics of RIS and the different key performance indicators (KPI) in the context of test and measurement. Based on that, two different over-the-air (OTA) test approaches and measurement setups are introduced. We present actual measurement data from a variety of RIS prototypes, so you can see practical examples and results firsthand.
