Rohde & Schwarz North America supports government customers through innovative technology solutions and highly skilled talent. Our recruiting team plays a critical role in delivering qualified professionals while meeting program timelines and compliance requirements. We are seeking a Contract Recruiter to support hiring for our Government Staffing program. This role will focus on full-cycle recruiting for a variety of professional and technical roles supporting government projects. The ideal candidate is an organized, adaptable Recruiter who can work closely with hiring managers in a structured, process-driven environment. Candidates must be based in Eastern or Central Time Zones.

Your tasks

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment from requisition intake through offer acceptance
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR to understand role requirements and hiring priorities
  • Source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and other creative sourcing methods
  • Screen and interview candidates to assess qualifications and role fit
  • Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, and feedback loops
  • Support recruiting activities aligned with government program guidelines and internal compliance standards
  • Maintain accurate candidate and requisition documentation within the ATS
  • Track recruiting progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
  • Contribute to a positive, professional candidate experience
  • Assist with onboarding coordination as needed

Your qualifications

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience (both corporate and agency preferred)
  • Experience supporting multiple open requisitions simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a structured, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools
  • Experience recruiting for government programs, and regulated industries
  • Familiarity with compliance-oriented recruiting processes
  • Experience recruiting technical, engineering, or professional services roles
  • In order to be considered, candidates must reside in the US and have US citizenship or permanent work authorization.

Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
