Software Development : Senior AI Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Rapid Prototyping: Design, develop, and iterate on AI models and algorithms in a fast-paced environment, leveraging a "move fast and break things" philosophy to foster innovation.
• Research and Development: Engage in business-driven research to explore and implement cutting-edge AI techniques, including but not limited to diffusion models, reinforcement learning, language models, and transformers.
• Collaboration and Synergy: Act as a critical node within the company, facilitating knowledge exchange and collaboration across teams to enhance AI capabilities and drive product innovation.
• Open-Source Exploration: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI research and the open-source landscape, identifying tools and frameworks that can accelerate development and improve functionality.
• Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns, fostering a culture of learning and experimentation within the incubation team.

Your qualifications

• Educational Background: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field, with a strong foundation in AI principles and methodologies.
• Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience in Python programming, with hands-on expertise in frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow for developing and deploying AI models.
• Research Acumen: Demonstrated familiarity with the latest AI research trends, methodologies, and applications, with a pragmatic approach to integrating theoretical insights into practical solutions.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to tackle complex problems creatively and efficiently, with a mindset geared towards experimentation and iterative improvement.
• Team Player: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative spirit that thrives in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment.
• Fluent German and English skills round out your profile
