Application Development : Software Engineer / Database Engineer (m/w/d)

Aufgaben

• You develop and maintain our core services – from Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to user and group management as well as solutions for data persistence.
• You drive the evolution and implementation of our microservices-based architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and long-term reliability.
• You build containerized services using JavaScript and other modern, lightweight languages and run them smoothly within our Kubernetes environment.
• You collaborate closely with teams across engineering, product development, and security throughout the entire development lifecycle to deliver robust and secure solutions.

Qualifikationen

• You hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable field.
• You have several years of experience in Platform or DevOps Engineering and feel at home in modern infrastructure environments. You have strong expertise in designing CI/CD pipelines, ideally using tools such as GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.
• You bring extensive experience with virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere, XCP-ng, VirtualBox, or Hyper-V, as well as with container technologies such as Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.
• You stand out with your teamwork skills, strong communication, and your independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working.
• You are committed to continuous learning and enjoy staying up to date with new technologies.
• You have excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
