The R&S®EPL1001 and R&S®EPL1007, which cover EMI measurements up to 1GHz and 7.125 GHz, respectively, are modular in nature, putting the control in your hands. This means, you can configure the base unit to suit your exact needs – from preselection, including a preamplifier, up to a CISPR 16-1-1 compliant test receiver – by selecting the relevant options.

The two new products join the popular R&S®EPL1000 EMI test receiver, which offers quick, precise and fully CISPR 16-1-1 compliant EMI measurements up to 30 MHz.

In other words, complete flexibility to mix, match and upgrade to suit your testing requirements, workflow and budget.

The new R&S®EPL1001 and R&S®EPL1007 EMI test receivers offer you new levels of freedom and flexibility.

1. Select your frequency range: Choose between the R&S®EPL1001 for EMI measurements up to 1GHz and the R&S®EPL1007 for EMI measurements up to 7.125 GHz.

2. Select the options you need:

Basic version: The base unit of both the R&S®EPL1001 and R&S®EPL1007 includes hardware protection, attenuation of strong signals, maximum use of the dynamic range and overload handling to prevent distorted measurement results, EMI detectors and more.
Preselection option (EPL1-B2): Includes everything in the base unit as well as improved measurement of broadband interferers and short pulses and measurement of small signals (a preamplifier with 20 dB gain directly attached to the preselection filters).
Compliance (EPL1-B2 and EPL1-B1611): Includes full CISPR 16-1-1 compliant EMI test receiver that allows the certification of products.

3. Upgrade at any time: Add options to suit your evolving needs. Other than those listed above, there are many more options and functions to choose from and you can even retrofit the R&S®EPL1001 to cover measurements up to 7.125 GHz, giving you full flexibility and ensuring you never have to pay for what you don’t need … until you need it.
