At the EMV 2025 tradeshow in Stuttgart, Rohde & Schwarz displays for the first time its R&S HF1444G14 High-gain EMI microwave antenna with outstanding performance. The antenna covers a frequency range from 14.9 GHz to 44 GHz. It meets the requirements of the standards CISPR 16-1-4 and CISPR 16-2-3. Frankfurt is the world’s first airport to regularly employ walk-through scanners for passenger security checks. Following a roughly one-year test phase at Concourse A in Terminal 1, the German Federal Police have authorized the full-scale use of the Rohde & Schwarz QPS Walk2000 air travel security system. The QPS Walk2000 provides significantly greater comfort and convenience at security checks: instead of having to freeze in an awkward posture for scanning, travelers can simply walk through the scanner at a normal speed.

With this technology, a bandwidth of more than 10 Mbps is possible even between a geostationary (GEO) satellite and user device. Rohde & Schwarz is launching the new R&S NRP170TWG(N) thermal power sensor for precise power level measurements in the D-band.
