A Wi-Fi 7 test setup with the R&S CMP180 and a Broadcom Wi-Fi 7 device will be demonstrated at the Rohde & Schwarz booth at the Mobile World Congress 2023 in Barcelona.
Massive MIMO and beamforming in 5G base stations impose stringent requirements on the clock generator, delivering the SYSREF and sampling clock signals to the ADCs and DACs in the various transceiver chains. The video demonstrates a clock generator from IDT and shows the measurement of time alignment and delay adjustment of SYSREF and sampling clock signals.
MIMO analysis The RTP oscilloscope can use up to 4 external frontends to acquire the respective IF signals for further analysis. Here we use two FE44S external frontends to test a 5G FR2 signal at 28 GHz. Signal analysis is performed by the R&S VSE software running directly on the RTP oscilloscope.
