ROHDE&SCHWARZ ISRAEL is seeking a skilled and motivated Applications Engineer with expertise in wireless communication technologies to support a diverse range of customers, including academic institutions and industry leaders.

Your tasks

  • Provide technical consultancy and support to customers in wireless communication technologies.
  • Apply system engineering skills to define customer requirements, develop technical solutions, and integrate complex systems.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, technical training sessions, and resolving complex technical challenges.
  • Develop tailored technical solutions to support customers.
  • Manage technical projects while collaborating closely with customer teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote company products and solutions effectively.
  • Write technical reports, guides, and documentation.
  • Train and coach customers through seminars and workshops on relevant technologies.
  • Work with the product management team to influence the product roadmap based on customer requirements

Your qualifications

  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in wireless communication technologies and standards (LTE, NR, 6G, WLAN, Bluetooth) in all layers (PHY, MAC, Protocol).
  • Strong background in working with test equipment such as Base station emulators like CMW\CMX\UXM.
  • Strong background in RF measurements, Protocol testing and end to end data tests and measurements (TCP\UDP\Voice).
  • Excellent debugging & analytical skills, extensive experience with captures\logs analysis.
  • Expertise in automation, developing scripts for test equipment.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer support with a high level of service awareness.
  • Demonstrated self-learning capabilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • High levels of initiative, motivation, and strong interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with wireless industry customers and academic/research institutions.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, or C++.
