Emitech, ein Unternehmen, das auf Tests zur Produktqualifizierung im Automobilsektor spezialisiert ist, hat sein neues Fahrzeugtestzentrum im französischen Montigny-le-Bretonneux eröffnet. Die EMV-Kammer ist mit einem umfassenden EMV-Testsystem von Rohde & Schwarz ausgerüstet, mit R&S BBA150, R&S BBA130 und R&S BBL200 Breitbandverstärker, R&S ESW44 Messempfänger, R&S SMB100B HF-Signalgeneratoren und Leistungsmesser. Im Rahmen der Eröffnungsfeier im März demonstrierte Rohde & Schwarz zudem seine innovative Lösung für Tests fortgeschrittener Fahrerassistenzsysteme (ADAS).

Das 5G-NR-Anwendungsprofil Enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB) unterstützt immer höhere Endnutzer-Datenraten und wachsende Systemkapazitäten, die aufgrund der Integration einer steigenden Anzahl internetbasierter Dienste und Anwendungen in Mobilfunkgeräte erforderlich werden. Auf dem MWC21 demonstrieren die Messgerätespezialisten Rohde & Schwarz und VIAVI Solutions gemeinsam ein Ende-zu-Ende-Testszenario für 5G-NR-eMBB im 5G-SA-Modus (5G Standalone), in dem erstmals ein Hochgeschwindigkeits-Datendurchsatz jenseits von 7,5 Gbps realisiert wird. Diese Demonstration ist der erste Schritt auf dem Weg zu künftigen Datenraten bis zu 10 Gbps. Der sehr hohe Datendurchsatz bedeutet, dass Mobilfunkteilnehmer in Kürze 4K-Videostreams empfangen und die Vorteile von Augmented Reality (erweiterte Realität) nutzen können.
