On April 22, Rohde & Schwarz has inaugurated a new facility center in Bengaluru’s Manyata Tech Park, housing R&D, system integration as well as calibration and repair services. The opening marks a strategic milestone for the technology company: it not only increases its presence in the third-largest city in India, but also strengthens its commitment to the Make in India initiative of the government by fostering innovation across the automotive, telecom, semiconductor, electronics, aerospace and defense sectors.

Der Test liefert eine präzisere und umfassendere Bewertung der Netzperformance für interaktive und Echtzeitanwendungen als traditionelle Verfahren. Mobilfunkbetreiber, die den Interaktivitätstest einsetzen, können darauf vertrauen, dass die Mobilfunknetz-Testlösungen von Rohde & Schwarz alle notwendigen Anforderungen gemäß ITU-T G.1051 erfüllen.

Kyocera and Rohde & Schwarz to Demonstrate Over-the-Air Characterization of mmWave PAAM at IMS San Francisco, June 17-19, 2025

Kyocera has developed an innovative mmWave phased array antenna module (PAAM) that simultaneously creates multiple beams in different directions at different frequencies. These PAAMs can enable a wide range of 5G FR2 infrastructure installations, including site co-location of different operators running networks on different frequency bands, as well as critical infrastructure threat-sensing, homeland security, and other high-reliability applications. To ensure optimal beam steering and beam directivity of its groundbreaking product, Kyocera relies on CATR-based multi-reflector Over-the-Air (OTA) testing technology from Rohde & Schwarz.

With the automated testing solution, they were able to verify Analog Devices’ innovative 8T8R O-RU reference design and development kit according to both O-RAN and 3GPP pre-conformance.
