The latest radio resource management (RRM) conformance work item from the Global Certification Forum (GCF) has reached “Active” status following the approval of the Rohde & Schwarz R&S TS8980FTA-M1 5G conformance test system as the first to meet test platform approval criteria (TPAC). This includes the validation of RRM FR2 test cases in standalone mode (SA) for both one and two angles of arrival (1x AoA and 2xAoA) within 5G mmWave band combinations.

Als erster Flughafen weltweit setzt Fraport zukünftig Walk-Through-Scanner an den Sicherheitskontrollen für Passagiere im Regelbetrieb ein. Nach einer rund einjährigen Testphase im operativen Einsatz an der Sicherheitskontrolle im Terminal 1, Halle A, hat die Bundespolizei den QPS Walk2000 der Firma Rohde & Schwarz nun für den dauerhaften Einsatz als Luftsicherheitskontrolltechnik zertifiziert und zugelassen. Pro Tag passieren bis zu 18.000 Fluggäste die hochfrequentierte Kontrollstelle. Perspektivisch ist der Einsatz an weiteren Kontrollstellen im Terminal 1 und im zukünftigen Terminal 3 geplant.
