With regional offices in Maryland, Texas, California, and Oregon, we provide our customers in North America with extensive after-sales support, training, free technical support and close personal contact from our engineers out in the field. The Sales Support Inventory Coordinator is an integral member of the team responsible for ensuring that our internal and external customers have access to the equipment they need in a timely and effortless fashion. This is a remote position; however, the ideal candidate will be located within commuting distance of our offices in Coppell TX or Hillsboro OR with a preference for candidates on the West Coast.

Your tasks

  • Manage / broker demo loans to maximize utilization and fulfill the needs of customers, account managers and application engineers in a timely and efficient fashion
  • Maintain the inventory data base to ensure accuracy and enable tracking of demo inventory
  • Manage the loan process of high-tech demo instruments
  • Organize demo instruments for trainings, trade shows and tours
  • Approve and extend loan requests of sales managers and application engineers
  • Support account managers and resolve loan issues
  • Ensure that the demo inventory is used effectively and customers have a smooth loan experience
  • Create customs paperwork work for loans to Canada and Germany
  • Request and manage loans from our global headquarters in Munich, Germany
  • Become an expert of our proprietary inventory management tool

Your qualifications

  • Associates' Degree or equivalent experience
  • Extremely detailed oriented and effective organization skills
  • Strong communication skills and customer focus
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Some experience in inventory management
  • Experience in a high-tech environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and SAP
  • In order to be considered, candidates must be current US residents with valid work authorization.

This is a full-time hourly position with a total compensation target range of $24-40 per hour, plus overtime & benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, and job-related skills.
