  • High sensitivity
  • High large-signal immunity
  • Small size (dipole length only 1.7 m)
  • High protection against lightning strikes in the vicinity

Passive broadband receiving dipole for vertically polarized signals

Its extremely wide bandwidth and high sensitivity make the R&S®HK309 particularly suitable for reception tasks in communications, reconnaissance and measurement. A compact design, a minimum number of distribution and switching units and a high S/N ratio are essential features for these applications. Eight impedance elements that suppress the nulls in the main direction of reception ensure the broadband characteristics of the R&S®HK309 passive receiving dipole.

Features & benefits

Extremely wide frequency range

Saves money and maintains performance

The R&S®HK309 covers the frequency range from 20 MHz to 1.3 GHz, saving money and space by eliminating the need for mounting multiple antennas. Thanks to its extremely wide frequency range, the antenna can be used for reception tasks in communications, reconnaissance and measurement.

High sensitivity

For very good reception results

The sophisticated R&S®HK309 design ensures high sensitivity, making the antenna particularly suitable for reception tasks in communications, reconnaissance and measurement.

Small size

For installations where space is limited

Thanks to its compact antenna design (length: approx. 1710 mm), the R&S®HK309 can be used in stationary and mobile systems, providing optimum reception results even in limited spaces.

High protection from nearby lightning strikes

For installation in exposed areas

The advanced R&S®HK309 design ensures strong protection against nearby lightning strikes. This makes the antenna particularly suitable for installation in exposed areas such as building roofs or mountains.
