At the recent i14y Lab Summit 2022 in Berlin, Rohde & Schwarz has showcased as one of the lab’s partners its proven and powerful measurement instruments used to verify the conformance of O-RAN Radio Units and the end-to-end network performance. Led by Deutsche Telekom, the i14y Lab is an industry consortium aimed at accelerating network disaggregation and Open RAN by building a European and German ecosystem of vendors and system integrators. Through early stage collaboration with open lab partners and customers, Rohde & Schwarz is able to adopt its portfolio in accordance with new test requirements.

ローデ・シュワルツのR&S TS-RRM-NR 5Gコンフォーマンス試験システムは、FR2周波数帯での5G無線リソース管理（RRM）のために認証機関のGCFが定めた試験プラットフォーム認証基準（test platform approval criteria：TPAC）を満たした初めての試験プラットフォームです。FR2のRRMコンフォーマンスにおいて、最初の作業項目が“アクティブ”状態となった結果、これがモバイル機器の認証に必須となりました。すでに、1方向および2方向の到来角（1xAoAおよび2xAoA）によるRRM FR2テストケースが、複数のFR2 EN-DC周波数帯コンビネーションについて検証されています。
