Rohde & Schwarz adds LAN models to waveguide thermal power sensors

For precise RF power measurements in V, E and W waveguide bands, Rohde & Schwarz is adding new members to its R&S NRP thermal power sensor family. The new R&S NRPxxTWGN models have LAN interface for more flexible connectivity with TCP/IP technologies, including stand-alone PCs, remote access or cloud systems.

High speed, high accuracy RF power measurements up to an unrivalled 67 GHz with the R&S NRP67S/SN power sensors

Rohde & Schwarz has increased the maximum measurable frequency of its three-path diode power sensors to an unrivalled 67 GHz. The three-path technology enables extremely fast and accurate power measurements with a high-sensitivity, portable instrument of minimum size and weight. This frequency extension makes high speed power measurements possible for additional applications such as IEEE 802.11ay and 802.11ad WiGig Wireless LAN, millimeter-wave terrestrial short distance communication links, and satellite-satellite links operating at 60 GHz.

Enhanced R&S NRPxxP RF wideband power measurement sensor family with maximum frequency of 50 GHz

Upgraded Rohde & Schwarz compact standalone wideband sensors for power measurements make up the R&S NRPxxP family. The R&S NRP50P is the latest model and engineers can now measure power levels from –60 dBm to +20 dBm at frequencies from 50 MHz to 50 GHz. The sensor is ideal for installing, maintaining and monitoring wireless communications systems.
