As an Associate Quality Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of products and services produced by the company. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality control procedures, identify and resolve quality issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong problem-solving skills will contribute to the overall success of the company's quality management system.

Your tasks

  • Conduct thorough inspections and audits of products, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to develop and implement quality control plans, including inspection methods, sampling plans, and test protocols.
  • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve quality issues, deviations, and non-conformities.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, such as inspection reports, test procedures, and quality records.
  • Monitor the performance of suppliers and vendors, conducting audits as needed to ensure their adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to review and approve changes, ensuring that quality requirements are met.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends, assess process capability, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with customer support teams to address customer complaints, investigate quality-related issues, and implement corrective actions.

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a quality engineering role or a similar position.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex quality issues.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision to ensure the accuracy of quality control processes.
  • Solid understanding of quality management systems, quality control principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly convey technical information and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams and support the achievement of quality goals.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001 or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
  • In order to be considered, external candidates must be a US person capable of receiving a U.S. Government public trust clearance.

The total compensation for this position is $69K-$99K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
